I)Introduction
Overview
Fansipan is a our special Wordpress theme for your Magazine, News or Blog site. It is cross browser compatible, mobile ready so it will look great on smart phones, tablets as well as laptops and desktop displays. This theme is very powerful yet easy to use and customize, whether you're a Wordpress pro or a beginner with no coding skills. This template suits for any type of website: Sport news, fashion magazine, travel blog…
Beside that, we have a dedicated support center for all of your support needs. It includes our Documentation, Community Forum for any questions you have. We usually get back to you within 12-24 hours. (except weekend and holiday seasons which might take longer). Don't hesitate to contacting us if you have any question or need any assist.
Features
Easy to customize: Theme Options powered by WordPress’ Customizer, you can change the logo image, logo text, slogan, social links, footer….without knowledge program. You can also change entire font of website based on Google fonts library. (With one our plugin)
Responsive Design: This means that you only need one theme for the desktop, tablet, smartphone and other mobile devices.
Page template and Post fomats: This theme supports 5 post formats (video, gallery, audio, quote, link) and some page templates (left sidebar, right sidebar, full page, list authors, 404 page )
HTML5 Base Template: We used HTML5 in Our Templates to make elegant, modern and SEO friendly website that would be fully functional & represents awesome typography.
Custom widgets: This theme included 6 widgets: Advertise Banner, Last posts (with 4 styles), Post sliders (with 3 mode), Social network, Tags, Search. These widgets are included so many options.
Quickstart install: Quickstart package is a full website package that includes: themes, plugins, database, images … and once you install the quickstart successfully, you will have a complete website that is exactly same as the Demo site.
No Framework: We do not use the framework, they are often bloated with unnecessary features and have many security vulnerabilities.
Responsive Contact Form: We used Contact form 7 plugin for contact form, it Easy and friendly dashboard control.

II)Getting started
After download our template package, you must extract it before install.
Folder extracted:
- Documents: This folder contains the installation/user guide of this theme.
- Sample data: This folder contains xml, json file (which allows you import all content like our demo).
- Theme: This folder contains all install package of theme (which allows you to install theme on available Wordpress websites).
- Licensing: This folder contains product license files.
A)Install Theme
If you have already wordpress site, you can install this theme for your site.
Go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
Click to Upload theme::
Click to Browse: and choose Zip file in Theme folder, then click to Install Now::
After installing the theme, kindly active it. And you will see a notice to install plugin. This theme need Alithemes Fansipan Shortcodes plugin to display the galery, Google fonts to change the fonts and Fansipan Demo Import to import the demo content. Kindly Click to Begin installing plugin:
Choose Install and Click to Apply:
Wait for install plugins,...
Click to Return to Required Plugins Installer, and Choose Activate and Click to Apply:
B)Install Sample data
If you’re aiming to match the demo layout exactly, it helps to have the sample content from the demo installed; it includes the posts, categories, media and menus from the demo content. This is especially useful if you’re going to be following the manual widget placement guide for a theme, as the widget configuration references the demo content.
Before starting the import process, we’ll need to ensure that the Fansipan Demo Import plugin has been installed and actived.
Go to Appearance -> Import Demo, click Import Demo Data button, and wait some minutes, your site will appear similar to the demo.
III) Theme Customize
Theme Options powered by WordPress’ Customizer, you can change the logo image, logo text, slogan, social links, footer….
After install our theme, Go to Appearance -> Customize You will see the left sidebar on next screen:
Site Identity:
You can change the site title, taglign and site icon (It's is small square images which are used by web browsers to show a graphical representation of the site being visited at the left side of the browser’s address bar.)
General setting:
In this section, you can change the logo (use Image or Text), the copyright text at footer, show or hide the datetime area, search box area…You also choose stick or not stick main navigation
Layout setting:
In this section, there are many options to change post layout. You can display or hide the metabox, author box, related posts, social share, archive header...
Category color:
In this section, You can select primary colors for each category. Note that only the categories have posts are shown here.
Menus:
In this section allow you setting the menus on your site. This theme has 3 menu locations: Top, Main and Footer
Widgets:
There are many widgets area on this theme
Static front page:
This is a default function of Wordpress, you can choose a static page and set it as homepage
IV) Widgets setting
There are 8 custom widgets in this theme: Category Tabber, Instagram, Post Slider, Social, Last Post, Search, Advertise, Tags. Each widget has the options, it will help you custom front-end display.
Alithemes Sliders
This widget will show the latest posts as slider. You can choose one category or all categories, post format, number of post to show
Alithemes Category Tabber
This widget will show the latest posts from each category as the Tabs.
Alithemes Last posts
This widget will show the latest post with many different layouts.
You can choose one category or all categories, post format, number of post to show.
There are 4 layout to display the posts.
Alithemes Instagram
This widget will show the image from your instagram site. Just enter your instagram account.
Alithemes Social
With this widget, you can setup your social network and display it on front-end. There are 6 social sites: Twitter, Facebook, Google plus, Dribble, Pinterest, Youtube
Front-end display
Alithemes Advertise
This widget allow you insert advertise banners (images) and set link for them. You can also set the banner size and link target
Alithemes Tags
This widget allow you custom Tags widget: You can choose number to display, set smallest and largest tags size
V) Use Plugins
Alithemes Google Fonts
We have created a plugin called Alithemes Google Fonts, it allows you to easily change the font on your website.
This plugin is installed like any normal wordpress plugin.
After you install and activate this plugin, go to Appearance -> Customize, you'll see an item is added in the left column: Typography Settings
